Hey everyone, been a while since this question has come up. I’m looking for that deep, modern reggae bubble. I’ve had decent results with Jazzy 2, Ocarina and Sine patches. Still not completely satisfied though. I’d love it if anyone might have some suggestions. Sometimes with the above patches I’ll find something but the useable range is incredibly small before my speakers start woofing. Reducing the bass with EQ seems to make the rest of the range gutless. I’d love to hear any input from you all. Have a great weekend!

Not a sound solution but a part one. We produce the Reggae Grooves MID collection that contains 100s of individual riffs, licks, skanks...all played by real (Reggae) musicians. You load them direct into Motif and voice them as you wish.

If you’re producing reggae solo (i.e. just on a Motif) you’ll probably find these very helpful.
