I am loading the extra Yamaha sounds from the CD they provided many moons ago (D/L found here at Motifator thank you!) but I am having some issues and it is probably because even after owning this keyboard since 2006 I am still kind of a newbie LOL.

When I load an individual sound on whatever USR a choose (from USB), it plays fine until I turn the unit off and on again. The sound name is still there but no sound is produced.

Do I need to create an autoload on the USB drive? If so, how do I do that?

What if I wanted to save the voices and use them for new compositions?

Thanks!

The Voice data is loaded to non-volatile flash memory - it persists after power is removed. However, the sample data is loaded to the DIMMs (SDRAM), which is volatile, so the loss of sound after power off/on is expected.
