Hi Guys

I’d like to know if there is any content on how to send like a “Patch change” midi message from the XF to my MX61. I’m running in song mode but want to let the MX change to a brass patch at a certain point so i can physically play the brass part without having to change the patch on the MX. Is there any content on here or online that could help me with that please.

And I thank you.

When a Master is selected, it can be done this way:

Is the MX being played with a different voice initially?

You’re welcome.

By the way, are you using Song mode primarily because a Mixing allows there to be seamless (glitch-free) Voice switching? If so, and you aren’t using all 16 of the Tracks, and you’re willing to press one additional button, I can suggest a method to send a Bank Select and Program Change message in Song mode (without association with a Master). Let us know.

Although there was no reply to the above, I decided to post about the method anyway. See http://www.motifator.com/index.php/forum/index.php/viewthread/481725/

Hi 5pin

Sorry bro. Haven’t touched my keyboard for a few days as I’m busy with a project. I will get back to this in next week only. Thanks so much for the info.
