Hi all,

I can’t work out how to rename a voice I’ve saved to the user bank. I know it’s in Common Edit somewhere but I can’t seem to enter characters if that makes sense.

Any ideas?

[COMMON EDIT] > [SF1](Name) > [SF6](CHAR). Characters can be entered as per pages 98 and 82 of the XS Owner’s Manual.

It’s much easier (if your XS OS is at version 1.10 or later) by connecting a USB ASCII keyboard to the TO DEVICE port.

By the way, there are several advantages to having a USB ASCII keyboard connected, as per the linked PDF. If a multi-port USB hub is also used, the ASCII keyboard can remain connected while still having ports available for attaching one or more flash drives.
