Hello!
Anyone knows how to achieve this (change from Internal sync to Midi Sync and back) controlled from the DAW? I can switch ON/OFF ARPs (globally or per part), change ARP values and change various effects and other things via SysEx, but can’t figure out how to switch between Internal and Midi sync in a similar way.
It is not clear how to do that from the Data List Documentation included, which is the bible.

Here’s some undocumented SysEx to control MIDI Sync on an XF:
F0 43 1n 7F 12 00 05 0B dd F7
where…
n = Device Number, 0~F (1~16), typically n = 0
dd = 00 (internal)
dd = 01 (MIDI)
dd = 02 (auto)
dd = 03 (MTC)

I also wonder why.

I’ve found some of the undocumented SysEx while monitoring Port 4 (the Editor port) using MIDI-OX while operating the panel. The XF Editor model ID is “13”, but changing that fifth byte to “12” in the SysEx message often allows it to work with Port 1.
