I’ve only just started to look at the MOXF8 editor. I want to do something which seems to me rather simple. I want to load .X3a data files into the editor, try them out, sort them into banks that suit me and them dump the new banks in the MOXF8 User banks.

Apparently this is not possible. The only way to get data into the editor seems to me to be from the MOXF8. But I don’t want to load new data into the MOXF8 and overwrite what’s there until I’ve selected the voices I want. Does the editor only except data directly from the MOXF8? It seems to only like .X6E files. Is this correct?

Thanks

Jeff Wells

Not at home so can’t confirm the file types, but you will have to sync from the editor to the MoXF before you can hear any voices.

Thanks for this

I knew about syncing. So, there’s no way for the MOXF8 editor to load and manipulate the X3a files from say, my pc, or a memory stick?
