Hi all,

Question re FL1024M memory expansion. I mean I know it’s 1024MB but what will that bring the total available memory to? And what can I do with that extra memory? Is it enough to load some extra sounds/voices AND audio samples?

The Flash Memory board is not “extra” memory, in the sense that it is the only memory capable of handling new waveform (audio sample) data.

You are able to LOAD VOICES which only use the native samples within the machine...to USER locations...without a Flash Board.

However, you will need the Flash Board to LOAD new samples, and to use any VOICES that depend on such data.
