I can get a percussion loop running in pattern mode and am able to play one instrument with it. I would like to play some live gigs where I have a percussion loop and also have a split keyboard with the lower half plucked bass and the right hand half piano. I can only seem to have one instrument selected to play on the keyboard while the pattern plays.I can’t figure out how to have the split. Can this be done?

Yes, a split can be programmed in Pattern mode.

Both Parts have to be set to the same Receive Channel.
See page 235 of the XS Owner’s Manual.

Note Limit for each of the Parts has to be set.
For example, if you wanted the split to occur at C3…
Set the Part with the plucked bass to C-2 - B2
Set the Part with the piano to C3 - G8
See page 235 and (15) Note Limit on pages 151-152.

You may also need to Note Shift one or both Parts so that they play in the range you want.
See the same pages of the Owner’s Manual.

You’re welcome. Indeed, it’s pretty easy to do.
