I want to connect my Mac to my motif xs for motif xs editor.

I want to make the connection by USB. I connected the devices,
When I go to the setup there is the message
ports are not properly set

I can t select anything in the menu
What can I do to use the editor?

I hope someone can help me

Welcome to the forum.

First, make sure that the Interface MIDI In/Out setting is “USB”. See (4) MIDI In/Out on pages 267-268 of the XS Owner’s Manual. STORE any change.

Next, have you installed the correct USB-MIDI Driver for your Mac’s OS?

or the European download site.

Let us know once those things are known to be correct.
