Hello there. I am new to this forum, please forgive me if this has already been addressed! Can some one orient me on how I can get the powergrand piano from the original motif into my motif es that I just purchased. Any advice and direction will be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

The PowerGrand Voice with sample can be loaded if your ES has the necessary DIMMs installed. The data is on the ES Sound Library CD-ROM. If you didn’t get it with the ES, the contents can be downloaded. See my post in this thread for a link:

Excellent! My motif es has two dimms installed… Hoping I can check this out thoroughly tomorrow as I am really wanting this sound in my board. I am trying to decide out this board. I just bought the plg150 dx card for it… Hoping to get 2 more… Any recommendations? Thanks again. I will respond with any updates. Thanks

It’s difficult to make suggestions concerning the plug-ins - personal needs tend to determine which are the better choices.

Yes I understand… Ok so as to the powergrand. As far as I can see from the links you sent, steps are as follows:
1. Download files
2. Put them on USB flash drive
3. Load them on motif
??? Is that correct? If it is, seems easy enough…
Is there in the manual how to load them and call them up? Thanks

That’s basically it. The PowerGrand is in the VOICEDAT folder, PLAYERS files. Make sure you copy both the W7V and W8V files to the USB drive.

Ok tried twice with no success.. Apparently it has to be 2gb with a fat 16 format… Sheesh. Hopefully I can get on at Walmart.. I’ll update shortly
