When I import a midi file into song mode how do I stop the voice changing once I have edited each channel. It is obviously a midi change message but i don’t know how I go about it. |

Quite often there is a setup measure in a GM file that will tell the machine which VOICES to use. This happens every time you start the file, and does not usually reflect what you want. Editing without removing this setup data is a recipe for frustration. You need to properly set up the MIDI file to eliminate these unwanted assignments, using a GM Reset command.
