Hi everybody. Motif XF8. I need to find an arpeggio that mimics the marimba’esque patch playing throughout Hungry Like the Wolf by Duran Duran. I’m pretty sure it’s just a 16beat arpeggio that randomizes the notes you play. I figured this would be easy to find, but it isn’t. There are sooooo many arpeggios. Help?!

Try MA_Electro 1 #7058 with the XF. It’s not random but works well and is easy for drummers to sync with. Build a simple popcorn synth voice with an fm square wave.

Thanks stoneb3! I’ll definitely give that a whirl. I agree it sounds more like popcorn than marimba. Cheers.
