Does anyone ever tired to use these three together ?
I want all the benefits of MLAN, (AUDIO, MIDI, REMOTE) continue to use with cubase while using UAD Twin as main audio card, with thunderbolt. is it possible, or how is it possible? thanks again.

Hi alge, If you want to use your UAD Twin and Motif XS simultaneously, you will in effect be using two audio interfaces at the same time, because in addition to the UAD, a suitably equipped Motif XS also counts as an audio interface. (either with a FW16E or built in mLAN16E2 FW interface) Because Cubase does not allow for the use of two audio interfaces simultaneously and because you very likely use a Mac, you can try to create what is called an ‘aggregate device’: |

I am no expert on this but I beleive you can. On a Mac (Your profile shows you are using Mac) you would create an aggregate device adding both sound cards to it. Then in Cubase or any DAW, just select your ins and outs as required using the Aggregate device instead of your individual sound cards. There are many youtube videos on this subject. Heris one example. |

Thank you both. You have opened a new page in my life! This is the first time I’ve heard about “aggregate device"s :)
