Anybody know if a file.X4A for MOX can be used for MOXF which in the manual says the files are .X6A?

Yes, MOX files are compatible with and can be loaded to a MOXF.

See Data Compatibility with the MOX6/MOX8 on page 157 of the MOXF Reference Manual (http://download.yamaha.com/file/60478).

Yes, MOX files can be utilized by the MOXF.

See page 157 of the MOXF Reference Manual.
