I am getting used to my relatively new MOFX8 and have worked through a lot of front panel challenges, thanks in part to this forum. What I am curious about now is how I can use the foot switches/pedals to help ease changes that I need to make during live performances. So, can someone either lead me to a primer that has been written about the footswitchs, or confirm if and how the following can be done: 1. Move forward and back through subsequent Performances (or Master setups)? 2. Momentarily activate the alternate sounds assigned to the Assignable Switch 1 & 2 by stepping and holding down the foot switch, and then return to the base sound by letting go of the switch. 3. Mute/unmute a select group of Parts in a Performance with a switch (if that can’t be done, then I can set up sequential variations of the performances with the right parts muted, assuming there is a solution to #1 above). Does anyone have any other unique ways to share, beyond the typical volume and sustain, that they use switches/pedals with the MOFX in a live settings?
Thanks,

Welcome to the forum.

Assigning the footswitch to CC#98 or CC#99 would allow moving forward or backward through Masters. See http://www.motifator.com/index.php/support/view/understanding_master_mode_moxf6_moxf8

Also, if you have a means of sending SysEx:

You might be able to do that using an ARP SWITCH trick. This was explained in Bad-Mister‘s post in this thread…
