Is there an easy way to compare two voices? And easy spot the different edit settings?

Some voices use the same samples but still sound very different. I would like to know exactly what is different about the voice programming. In order to learn and re-use the technics.

At the moment I’m going back and forth between the edit screens and making pictures with my phone. And this is very time consuming.

I tried to open the voice in the John Melas voice editor. But this editor switches simultaneous to the voice your editing on the XF itself. So I still have to make pictures.

Yes, you can, using the Edit Buffer.

1) Select a Voice while in Play mode.
2) Move one of the knobs slightly from the center/detent position until an [E] appears at the upper left corner of the display. Return the knob to the center position.
3) Select the Voice you wish to compare with that from step #1.
4) Press [JOB] > [F2](Recall) > [ENTER] > [INC/YES]
5) Press [EDIT] - the first Voice selected will be displayed, with [E] in the upper right corner.
6) Choose the screen you want to display.
7) Press [EDIT] - the second Voice selected will be displayed, with [C](for Compare) in the upper right corner.
8) Press [EDIT] as desired to toggle between the two Voices.

Continue to select editing screens - whichever you select will be displayed for each Voice as you toggle with the [EDIT] button.

The same thing can be done for Performances.
