Does any one have a simple answer; I can’t get my head around this: gear: Akai MPC 2000 as hardware sequencer with Motif XS rack and Roland master keyboard. How can I trigger an aperggio with the MPC2000 and keep this “trigger-midiichannel” and the use the other midichannels to record pianos, guitars, etc.
Maybe it is in the manual but I cannot find it. Thanks!

For this purpose, you should select Multi mode on Rack XS and activate arpeggio switch on particular channel. See Owner’s manual, page 96.
