Hi,
It is a known problem to a certain degree but I cannot find details or solution. The problem is that MOX6 audio interface - after a period of perfect funcioning - does not play anything except direct play onthe instrument. No sound from cubase, no test sound, no you tube, no mp3 etc. The device is seemingly OK and the level meter during test on windows sond panel visually works as well, but no sound. 
Reinstall drivers with no success. And then at a later point, it became working suddenly. Happiness for 1-2 days. Then gone muted again. What is suspected now: something happens when using Cubase (Elements, 7), within Cubase, but not sure. Have you any tips ot hints about this problem?
