Hey guys,

Ive got the following problem with my Motif ES7.
When I layer sounds in the performance mode and play fast, the Motif doesnt play random notes. It gets worse the more sounds I layer. But also if I for example only layer piano and strings it starts to skip notes when playing fast.

Anyone who knows about this issue? Thanks a lot!

Welcome to the forum.

It seems like a polyphony issue.

Is anything connected to the ES via MIDI?

Are you using a sustain pedal?

Nothing is connected via Midi.

I´ve got a sustain pedal and just checked. The more sustain I use the worse it gets. So a polyphony problem could definitely be the issue.
But the performance shouldnt be at the maximum with just one or two layered sounds and a sustain pedal right?
