What did you buy that was supposed to come with YC-3B activation?

A MOTIF XF6 on the Yamaha support download for the MOTIF XF the YC-3B
file is there after a little research I found out you need a yellow paper with
the code on it I looked for it did not get one I did get the cd for the manuals
and a paper for Cubase Ai with Code, I already own Cubase 8

As far as I know, the purchase of a Motif XF doesn’t include YC-3B activation, although it has been included with other models such as the MOX and MX. Also, when the Motif 10th Anniversary Pack was available, it included the activation code.

Do you have any documentation showing that you were supposed to get YC-3B activation with your purchase? If so, then I suggest you contact Yamaha support in your country. Addresses and phone numbers are on the last page of the Owner’s Manual.

the reason I got the board was to use less plugins anyways
