When i use the integrated sampler, OK a new sample voice it assigns a new waveform & wave #. for ex. wave 0001. Now if i delete the wave 0001 & add a new sample it assigns it to wave # 0002, even though wave #0001 does not exist anymore. then if add another it goes to wave # 0003. my ? is why does it not use the deleted wave #0001 ?

It’s just the way it works. If you clear the entire sample memory it starts from 1 again. Don’t sweat it too much. If you’re worried about running out of locations, you can always copy from one to another. |

Save All. The All file can autoload when you power on which will restore all your samples. Keep in mind if you start using lots of samples, the load time can get really long....not to good for gigs. |

Meatballfulton, You are correct about the load time. Mine is just over 10 minutes. Once loaded though, I have everything at my disposal as long as I don’t lose power. If that happens, well, I just improvise as if I did before using samples. It also gives good reason to take a break. Like other musicians!!! LOL Kenny |
