Hello,

So I just switched from my Motif XS7 to an S70XS and I must say I am impressed with the ease of use compared to the Motif. I could have done with a tiny bit bigger screen and another combo input :), but hey… you can’t have it all, can you?

I just had the most annoying problem which drove me nuts for about 20 minutes and was starting to think that my keyboard is broken :(

There is the “Accnt Vel Th” setting, which is turned ON by default (value is 64). It is described in the Reference Manual and it’s called “Accent Velocity Threshold”. In my case, it was making the first note of the arpeggio sound with every single keypress, which was pretty annoying :)

I would think this option would be automatically turned off, or at least set to a higher level, especially when you set the “Arp Play Only” under “Voice” to ON. Cause when I set this to ON, I expect to hear the sound of that specific part coming only from the arpeggio.

Anyway, there it is, in case someone is encountering the same issue.

Search Google with this…

... and it will become obvious how often this topic comes up.  :-)

LOL… indeed

Might be a sign that a change in the way it works is needed.

I suggest setting it to OFF as default.
