Hi,
I would like to try if the
MOX6/MOX8 Remote Tools V1.1.1 for Windows 32bit
works with my MOXF6 and Cubase 5.1
I can’t find this older version.
It would be great if somebody could upload the
MOX6/MOX8 Remote Tools V1.1.1 for Windows 32bit
here.

Hi,

the actual version 1.1.4 doesn’t support Cubase 5.1
So I am looking for the older version 1.1.1 with Cubase 5.1 support.

thanks, I got it.
In the meantime I found on my old backup harddisk this version (1.1.1) for my MOXF.

Unfortunalty it doesn’t work as intended.
It can poll the data from my MOXF but doesn’t recognize Cubase 5.1

I found a way to get the most functions of the Remote Tools without the Yamaha software.
Cubase 5.1 has already everything to emulate the most important functions of the Remote Tools. Using the “Generic Remote Control” function note events can be translated in Cubase Transport functions. When in DAW-Mode the MOX(F) sends Midi-Note events to Cubase. But not on Midi port 1 but on Midi Port 2 works for me. So the remote waits for special Note-ON events on MOX(F) port 2 and then Cubase translates this event to the desired function. This way I don’t need the Yamaha remote tools at all.

So far I am happy with that solution. The more important VST-Editor for MOX(F) works with Cubase 5.1 and actual USB/Audio driver, too.
