I have an S90 XS and a Hammond XK-1.  what I want to do is set up a “multi” as follows:
1. need to put piano sound to be played from hammond using the yamahas sound for that piano
2. need to be able to utilize a performance from my yamaha as is.

ie:  song thriller.
I have the yam set up in a 4 part performance with 4 sections of the keyboard split with 4 different sounds.  I also need the electric piano sound from a Voice on the yamaha to be played by the keys of the hammond.

Bad_mister b/4 you yell at me, i have read and re-read the “multi set up in the “beyond the manual” so many times I could almost recite it w/o looking at it.  I’m just old and stupid I guess.LOL

Need it explained step by step if anyone has the time.

thanks so much for at least reading!

John

Quick reply only. Try multi mode.

Set up the multi first of all with the desired voicing.

You can select one channel to play from S90XS using panel buttons (eg channel 1) and assign another (eg channel 2) to be played using midi from the Hammond. You need to set the Hammond midi channel Send to match.
