Just got a newsletter from Yamaha MusicSoft saying the following:

Now through Wednesday, July 30th, enjoy 20% off amazing new products including Synth Voice Libraries for MOTIF XF, MOTIF XG and MOXF.

I’m wondering if this Motif XG is referring to something new from Yamaha or just libraries in Yamaha’s good old XG format.

The press release meant to say “XS”. There is no Motif XG. That’s a misprint in the press release.

Thank you!
19 words!… I’m really going through a process of getting to, and remaining at, three and one half minutes a song!  :-)

I was in the hospital a few years ago, and while I was there, my ES7 was stolen.  I know that he XF has been out for a few years now, so I’m wondering when they plan on releasing a newer model.

So, given the release of Motif XF WH, Yamaha has bought themselves another three years - within which will obviously see the release of groundbreaking MOXF WH and MX WH… :>

Meanwhile, the CGI-rendered red synth has been removed from the blog post quoted above and replaced with the image of the Yamaha SY-1 vintage analog synthesizer from 1974. Everyone please feel free to make another far-fetched analysis on the current state of Yamaha product development out of this fact :)
