I think this is the area where Motif XS/XF simply can’t compete vs Kronos. Starting at 4:23 in the video:

Even though the sounds on this video where created by this guy, Kronos has some amazing preset pads.

Even though the sounds on this video where created by this guy, Kronos has some amazing preset pads.

You can get amazing pad sounds on both the Kronos and the Motif. And why are you pointing to YouTube as a good example? YouTube audio quality is poor. Don’t judge anything by what you “hear” on YouTube.
