Do you know by any chance if this promotion of the XF with all those extras included, is a promotion from US Yamaha in general, or is it just a promotion from Sweetwater ?

I ‘think’ it’s a celebration from Yamaha of their 40 years in the synth business.
But not even I have verified the question you have.
Give’em a call.
Post back what you’ve found.
As I stated in my previous post,
The XF 8 will be our choice because of the Balanced Hammer Action only on the 8.
....which, btw, they still have a ‘typo’ on their website for the white 8
that claims not the BHA keyboard,
but the version found on the 7’s and 6’s.

If a new workstation from Yamaha doesn’t come out tomorrow at NAMM, I am very serious about getting a white XF6, the thing is that this 40 anniversary package doesn’t seem to include Cubase. What can you tell ?

Well, another question for the sellers to answer.
Though I haven’t given that a lot of thought as we’re fairly locked in with 7.5 for the time.
We were patient and waited for an upgrade deal from a version of Ai.
... it was about half off the full Cubase.
Honestly, imo, Cubase (owned by Yamaha) has it over most daw’s ...unless someone has be ‘raised’ on one of the others. :)
I could explain that if there’s ever a chance and enough space!  haha

It wouldn’t make any difference if a new synth comes on the market
.... it takes some serious coin

I just talked to a friend of a friend who’s a painter…
says he can do a durable high quality semi-gloss
on the stands for the HS-8’s and the LG-800 !

...NOW THEN, watch Yamaha issue for the marketplace
all these stands in WHITE!
