Looking for the best piano sound i can get in a yami synth.  I was looking at a s90xs but many say to get an ES instead.  I need a synth for live performances and controlling a kronos 61

Hello midi26!

Only your own ears can decide.

I’ll give you my opinion on the s90xs vs. s90es
The s700 piano in the s90es is very allround and I don’t think it needs any tweaking to suit most music-styles.
The S6 piano in the s90xs is in my opinon in need of a little tweaking for certain music-styles but once your start to tweak you’ll realize that you can make it work very well in many different situations such as solo or in a band or in a production mix.

Well...use your ears to listen to the sounds, dont use them to listen to other peoples opinions.

Kind regards from Sweden
