The AF1/AF2 buttons may behave like a toggle, i.e. when pushing the button the state changes permanently and this is indicated by the button’s light. For voices using XA Control it acts like a push button, i.e. the state changes as long as I keep the button pressed and returns to the default state when I release the button. Q1: Which voice parameter does control which behaviour is the active one? Q2: When I assign a voice featuring XA Control (e.g. Big Brass AF1&2;) to a song mixing, the behaviour of the AF1/AF2 button changes. The state will now change permanently when pushing the button. Why is the AF buttons behaviour not inherited when I assign this voice to a song mixing and how can I change that?
Thanks and regards

The AF button modes are “momentary” and “latch”. The Parameters for setting them are A.Func1 and A.Func2. See the MOXF Reference Manual pages 31, 60, and 116 for Voice, Performance, and Mix Mode settings. |

In Voice mode press [EDIT] (Press [COMMON] if not LIT) Press [OTHER]
In song Mode Press [MIXING] press [EDIT] (press [COMMON] if not LIT)
Hope that helps. EDIT: 5pinDIN was faster than me:) I am to slow to translate to English..... |

Thanks guys, perfect answer! I’m using the MOXF Editor most of time for editing song mixings and it seems that this parameter just didn’t make it into the Editor? Or maybe I’m just blind? ;-) Anyway, I do these AF mode edits at the MOXF panel now. |
