Bad_Mister thank you for your suggestion. i will have a look at this. Meanwhile I found out that I can edit the velocity for each voice under “Performance”. This helps a lot to adjust each sound as I need, without having to store each of them as “user sound”. This has solved quite a lot with the Brass… but I still have an issue with Fender presents. |

The question is, do you have the Fender Rhodes and Wurlitzer in your studio right now, so you can compare their sound to the Mo XF electric pianos?
I think if you had them available to play right now, you’d be surprised at how little you
You can adjust the velocity range of elements in any voice on the Mo XF so the
The key is to learn to edit in VOICE mode, not adjust things in performance mode.
Here’s a good DVD that explains everything about editing Yamaha synthesizer sounds: http://shop.motifator.com/index.php/dvds/recording-sound-dvds/sound-advice-dvd.html: |

It is not a matter of modifications of the sound, it happens that I play an arpeggio and here and there suddenly comes out a SBANG! as if I hit the key very hard, which is not the case. May I just point out that I do not expect to spend my time editing each the standard presets, especially those that are available for over 20 years in any good sampler or sound module? I am somehow disappointed by the fact that the Yamaha programmers have created those unclear sounds. I have another keyboard (Roland) and the Fender sounds are much cleaner and easy to use. |

OK I solved the issue. I used the “velocity cross fade” in each Voice Element. A number between 5 and 10 will do. It will make the changes among samples much smoother. |
