Are you asking if you can choose 4 voices from two performances and combine them into one performance?  Here’s a support article that really dives into the performance mode:

Playing Performances

Or are you asking if you can combine the 4 voices from two performances into an 8 voice performance? Seems like a complex layer, but I think so, by using a MIX and setting up all 8 voices to use the same receive channel…

Or are you asking if you want to use all 8 voices from the two performances to use in the pattern and/or song mode?

If so, you can combine the voices of up to 4 performances into a MIX.

Of course, you have decisions you have to make depending on whether you’re using the MIX as a way to organize PERFORMANCEs for live performance (e.g. to enable a smooth transition from one performance to the next) or to setup to work in the pattern and/or song modes.  For instance, how do you want to use the insertion effects?  System effects?  Arpeggios?

Here’s a few support articles by Bad_Mister on using a MIX…

Joshman, you do realize that a PERFORMANCE can have only 4 PARTS?  Not 5,6, or 8...4 is the limit.

You can COPY Parts of one into the other

For example, call up Lakeside, this Performance uses Parts 1 and 2, while Parts 3 and 4 are unused.
You can copy Parts from any other Performance into Parts 3 and 4
Press [JOB]
Press [F3] COPY
Press [SF1] PART
Select the Source Performance and Part
Target Part 3 and press [ENTER] to execute

Select a second Source Part
Target Part 4 and press [ENTER] to execute
