The latest is that the manager for Allans Billy Hyde music store in Melbourne has confirmed the s70xs is discontinued. He is the manager of prabably the biggest store in Australia so he should know.

The S70xs has been discontinued in my region some time ago.  My guess is that the S70 is priced very close to the S90 and most people would just go with the 88 keys.  Perhaps the S70 is still available in regions like Japan, US or Europe.

But BadMister has just confirm that both are and continue to be current products.

It just seems that some dealers are trying to clear their outstanding stocks of S90/70 and not replenishing them, though they are current products.

Thanks for your input. I’m disappointed because 2 kg less and shorter was definitely my preference.
