Hi everyone,

I just install 1 Gb of memory on my XS.
I have some sample-based voices that I load and work fine, but after power off and again power on the motif, I go to the voices, and I can´t hear any sound.

Could this be a damage in the memory, or am I doing wrong the load process?

Thanks in advice.

That’s the difference between XS and XF:
the XF holds the samples, the XS looses them at every power down.
The solution is AUTOLOAD at power-up, but that costs time.

;JOOP!

What general stores in the U.S. sale the cheaper brand of memory, PC133 168-pin 512mb\1gb?  Or am I limited to ordering online?

Do what you will, but when I tried upgrading the memory to the classic and went to a ‘store’, it didn’ work.

Since then, I have relied on the Shop of this site for memory. You ‘know’ it’s going to work and be compatible.
but that’s just ‘me’......
