Hi yall

Need your advice, need an dynamic mic that has good solid clear volume before feed back.

I was given these two mics to look at in the price range (akg d5 and shure beta 58A)

Im not in a position to test them at any store.

I’ve worked with sound for over 30 years. There is no such thing as a mic
that won’t feedback. Given the right circumstances, any mic will, especially if you have a monitor facing the microphone. There are
a number of pro-level feedback suppressor units on the market, and these
work to a degree if you understand which frequencies you have to target.
Pro sound guys can hear feedback and pretty much know which frequencies
are giving them problems, and address those with graphic EQ’s.

The Shure Beta or the AKG D5 are both great mics, you’ll be fine with either of them. Just don’t expect either one to be a “feedback-killer”.
