i have both of these cards in my motif rack. in cubase6 i have set the motif up in the device manager and it lets me select all of the voices and banks in the motif rack. my question is how do i go about adding the plg cards to the list so i can also select voices like the sounds in the rack?

Wow, if it were ten years ago I’d simply refer you to a script file that was made for the PLG150 boards - but I would not even know where to begin searching for one now. The PLG150-AN would be easier to find since it has 256 Voices… I don’t recall anyone doing a complete one for the DX board with its more than 900 Voices.

Do you have the AN Expert Editor and the DX Simulator? These Editors for the PLG150 boards would be actually better than script files but again - they are no longer available for current computer Operating Systems.

Wish I had some good news - but I’ll check around and post back if I find them.

i do have the expert editor for the plg150-an, the other board maybe i can download the dx simulator from the yamaha site. i have a pc running xp for this very reason but how would i use the expert editor. is there a way to transfer the sounds thru the editor?

If you still need the PLG150AN and DX scripts then they are attached, I have found them by Googling. They were done for Cubase SX3 but may well still work with more modern versions.
