Hello
Every project I have created in song mode with my xs allowed me to check 8 insertion effects on 8 tracks on the mixing page.  I recently created a project for the first time in pattern mode, and for some reason it will allow me to check only 7 tracks with insertion effects. What could I have done to create this phenomenon?  Confused!

Figured this one out.  Somewhere along the line I when playing around with the vocorder I managed to put an effect switch on audio input which used up one of the 8 insertion effects. Disabled A/D effect and got my 8th insertion effect back.
