What I’m looking into is a 4-channel keyboard amp with XLR (L/R) stereo outputs to run to the mixer.

I’ve seen some of the Peaveys but wondered if anyone had other suggestions. I’m hoping to eliminate the need for DI boxes. (tired of them getting kicked around by our drummer)

I’m looking in the price range of $400-$500 +/-.
Any suggestions?

yes by all means you get a hartke but be sure that is has the metal cone speakers...why because on stage in any venue you can hear yourself clearly. I have an SWR too but it always sounds muddy

yamaha stagepas series is great for small gigs. With large gigs you can direct out to main mix.

You can buy 1U rackmountable multi-channel DIs....for only $500 you won’t get a very good sounding keyboard amp.

We play mostly larger gigs so I do run to the main but because of the distance I use xlr’s and need DI boxes to get there. The Hartke has xlr stereo outs that would eliminate the need for them.

The Roland KC-550 will do what you asked.
