Hi there!!!

I’m stuck with trying to integrate my MOTIF xf 8 into Logic 9 :(

I want to hear the sound from my macbook internal speaker.

Motif is connected through USB and in utlity midi in/out set to usb.

Here is what I’m doing:
1. Downloaded all MIDI Driver,

2. Installed everything and i can work with MOTIF XF8

3. In logic I’ve made a new - External MIDI

4. My library showing my new motif usb connection
Which i setup in audio midi setup window with yamaha usb driver

It got 16 channel.

If I play key in motif logic transport bar showing the information.
but no sound coming out
so I added an aux channel and put 0 db option to hear the sound
No result

In the mixer its showing its taking signals.

What is wrong I am doing?

I want to hear the motif sound and also want to record it

Do I need an audio interface?

my gear:
Mac OS 10.6.6
Logic Pro 9.1.3
Motif XF8

Setup is the same as in this post. settings for the XS are exactly the saemas the XF and Logic 8 setup is the same as Logic 9.
