I have a Motif XS. I need a way to control my voices on stages while playing.
In preformance mode:
Is it possible to assign program change (for example CC11) to only one part (for example part3: part 3 changes and part 1,2,4 doesn’t change)?
In pattern/ song mode or Mixing mode:

In any case you must press a button or kick a pedal.

If you are in PERFORMANCE mode, yes it is possible to select another PERFORMANCE
No. These are selected by dedicated front panel buttons on the keyboard itself.
Yes.
cc11 is not a Program Change message… it is a CONTROL CHANGE message. Yes this can be done with an MFC10, however, this can be done without the MFC10 using an FC7 pedal plugged into the Foot Controller jack.
Not sure what you mean here. If you mean switch from PART 1 to PART 8, NO. That would be changing the keyboard Transmit channel. This is handled by the front panel buttons [1]-[16] If you mean can you send a Program Change from a button on the MFC10 to a PART, YES. Any of the switches on the MFC10 can be set to send any Bank Select/Program Change on any MIDI channel. |
