I am sure this question has been asked before.  How do I take a single percussion sound in Performance Mode and move it to a specific key?  I tried, what I think are, the correct steps from the user manual and get nothing but silence.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums.

Unfortunately the question is not really clear. Assigning sounds to a KEY is a function of Editing in VOICE mode. A PERFORMANCE is made up of as many as four separate VOICES. Each of these VOICES can be found in the VOICE mode, where you can edit them and then store your own variation of that VOICE.

Can you be more specific when you say “single percussion sound in Performance Mode and move it to a specific key?”
