Hello M-world,

I created a small instrument track in Cubase and then mixed it down to a wave file. I connected an Ethernet cable from the Motif XF to my cpu.  Everything seemed to be ok, I was able to see all the files on my cpu. I tried to play the wav file and I received an Illegal File error.  Is there any way of playing wav files from the cpu on the Motif XF?

Thanks in advance..

Not sure what it is you are doing but to play or load a .wav file on the XF, it must be at 16-bit word length and up to 44.1kHz sample rate.

Thanks, it worked..I was mixing it down as 32 bit.  I’m used to using PT’s and Cubase is gonna take some getting used to as Chicago’s “Hard Habit To Break” states..
