Although the flash memory is the same type for the Tyros and the Motif XF, you cannot load Tyros sounds to the XF, or Motif XF sounds to the
Tyros. The sound “engines” are different for each keyboard - Tyros voice
architecture is different than Motif voice architecture.

Think of it like this - you cannot load a Korg M3 voice directly to the
Motif XF. Same thing with the Tyros - you cannot load a Tyros sound directly to the Motif XF, nor can you load a Motif XF voice directly to
the Tyros4.

coinstar, the same computer can run Windows, UNIX or LINUX,
but you can not exchange binary programs between those systems.

Not really a good comparison, but well intended.

No - it is not the same hardware, it is not the same samples, and it is not the same “software” (voice architecture).
