I wonder if I can make arpeggio’s of my created drum patterns in
Pattern mode. I’ve already tried it by pressing ‘Put track to ARP’ in the JOB menu. But then when I switch on the arpeggiator and press a key, I only hear an individual drum sound (the drum sound that’s on the key I’m pressing) in the sequence.

How Can I make the arpeggiator play te entire drum pattern I just made in Pattern mode? I own a Motif ES.

You must set the CONVERT TYPE parameter to FIXED NOTE - Playing any note(s) will trigger the same MIDI sequence data.

On the ES the CONVERT TYPE can be NORMAL (musical arpeggio), FIXED (which is what you want for drums) or ORG NOTES (original notes, which is the same as “fixed” but will transpose up and down to match the key).
