I just wanted to know if PLG150-VL works with Motif XS. I am planning to buy it, but it seems Motifator does not carry the product. Any tips will be really helpful.

Thanks

Thanks a lot for the response.

Is there any other plug-ins (for example: Brass, Saxophone, Strings etc.) that Motif XS support? I am really interested in a plug-in for Saxophone with a breath controller (BC3A?) for my Motif XS. If you can direct me to some kind of a similar product it will be really helpful.

Thanks

There’s no sockets for any plugins on the XS series.
You got to do it with programming and library purchase.

If you have some extra cash, you might want to check out the Yamaha VL-70M. This works with the BC3a and also with Wind Controllers, such as the WX5.

This is why I’ll be keeping my Motif ES rack in my gig rig as it gives me two PLG slots. I have a PLG150AN in one (to hopefully avoid gigging my AN1x) and I’ll soon be looking for a PLG150VL. I already have VL in my EX5 (my main board), having a dedicated VL board will give me better flexibility.

Just to mention: To explore all the potential of PLG150VL you should use breath controller BC3a. Since ES rack does not have input for BC3a, you should consider buying breath to MIDI converter (see at MIDI Solutions).
