Looking for suggestions on trying to recreate the Pete Townshend synth on Won’t Get Fooled Again. I’ve messed around with the Arpeggio and Cutoff controls, but can’t get anything close to the original. |

Hi, The Vintage Keys collection for Motif, available on Motifator’s shop has a patch called “get fooled”, which I used in my old band, Echoes when we were doing classic/prog rock covers. FYI, Pete Townsend got that sound by feeding a Lowry Organ into a VCS3 synth and used the VCS3 VCA and a Square wave LFO to “chop” the organ sound. The patch in Vintage Keys does a very similar thing. So you have to still play the melody (or sequence it) and play it carefully in time with the LFO tempo.
Cheers
