I followed the instruction in http://www.motifator.com/index.php/support/view/how_to_make_a_wav_or_aiff_for_cd_mp3_creation
and created some WAV files through resampling.  No matter what low the settings I used, they turn out poorly.  Any help would be appreciated.

Did you ever get this sorted out? If you are getting noise and distortion it could be your DIMMs are bad or installed improperly.

How do I check the DIMMs?

Thanks for being the first to respond. I haven’t resolved the problem and had been waiting for some traffic on this forum.

Try loading a Voice that contains samples or do a simple recording using a microphone. See if you can playback any audio that is clean.

There is plenty of free stuff to download and verify that your DIMMs are good.
