I am using my sequencing my XS8 with my MPC 2000XL. The only problem I am having is being able to get my arpeggio to match the tempo I have set on my MPC. Please HELP!!! Thank you. |

You need to set one of them to be the Master MIDI clock and the one to Slave to MIDI clock. For example, if you are sending MIDI clock from the MPC, then you must set the Motif XS to MIDI SYNC = “MIDI” When you press PLAY on the MPC, the MPC will send its clock to the Motif XS and the Motif XS’s sequencer, arpeggio and Tempo Effects will reference the tempo of the MPC. when i set midi sync on the xs, it would not even play the arpeggio |
