Hi guys is there any way I can alter things like reverb,release etc,etc in voice or perf,and save to the original destination rather than create a new sound in User banks...Simply want to tweak sounds a bit and save for future use....Edenboy

There are two type of program storage in the Motif XS - presets and user. The Presets are stored in Read Only Memory and cannot be overwritten… (voices and arpeggios include preset and user locations, whereas performances and masters only have “user” settings.) You can only store modified programs into “user” locations.

For PSR series I’m ok with “PRESETS” because they are just simple synths, but with powerfull synths like Motif series, I still don’t understand why Yamaha makes presets for? We don’t need PRESETS slots, we need more memory location for sounds.
