Hi all:

I have a question that I’m hoping someone might answer for me.  I am a teacher and at my school I have the Yamaha E403.  I have done a piece of music in it via the USB cable and using my MacBook with Digital Performer.  I tried to hook the same thing up to my Motif (original) and use it but it doesn’t seem to work.  All I have to do is connect the cord at school and it works fine but not at home with the Motif.  Can anyone explain this setup to me?

I would greatly appreciate any help.

Are you trying to record as MIDI???  If so, the USB should work (I believe it only xfers MIDI over USB) with the drivers installed.  If you are wanting to record wav files, you need the mLAN firewire adaptor thingy.
