I recently upgraded computers, Quad Core 8300, 4gb RAM, Vista 32, Sonar 7 PE. Re. my Motif RackES, I have it talking with Studio Manager, can use both patch and multi editors, but when I try to do a bulk dump or synchonize, I get a brief message on the ES Rack display that it is transmitting, then it goes away and the operation times out in Studio Manager.  I have downloaded the latest Yamaha USB drivers and also the newest Studio Manager updates.  Also have the ES Rack set to MIDI usb. Any ideas?

I have got the same problems on Mac OS X.
I have found a newer Studio Manager application like there is one in the Motif Rack ES section here:

With this one some functions work already, but bulk functions don’t work at all on standard MIDI.
I wrote to Yamaha to address these issues but they don’t answer at all.
